when you went zooming by.
What could be so urgent?

Arriving at the stoplight,
"My goodness," I reply,
"One car ahead of me?"

Light turns green, off you rush.
Your speed, it seems so high.
At next light you idle.

A third time, then a fourth.
A pity, though you try,
speed is not your forte.

One more light, I turn left.
I guess this is goodbye
as you sit there waiting.
