It's so important to...

Help The Homeless

Acrostic Poem Contest Winner 
Here we are now, in this season of giving,
Everyone thankful for all that they have.
Life itself is a gift, it's great to be living,
Praise be to the Lord, it's for Him that we're glad.

Thankful we are, to have loved ones near,
Help those who aren't quite as lucky as you.
Ease, if you can, their sadness and fear. 

Have a wonderful Christmas but please remember,
Others are hungry and homeless as well.
Maybe, if you can, try to give this December.
Every cent counts, volunteer for a spell.
Lately times have been quite hard, that's true.
Even harder on those, with no shelter or food.
Simply reach out, help those worse off than you,
Spread the spirit of Christmas, these folks, please include.
