Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Just mom and me

A Day At The Park

My mom and me went out today,
we went down to the park to play.
She pushed me on the swings so high,
it made me feel like I could fly.

Then both of us went down the slide,
my laughter I just couldn't hide.
Cause mom had got stuck halfway down,
before her two feet touched the ground.

The merry-go-round spun us fast,
I watched the trees and sky go past.
But mom got really dizzy then,
she wouldn't ride with me again.

The park's a pretty place to be,
a favorite place for mom and me.
It's fun to watch the birds up high,
who rest on branches 'till they fly.

We had a picnic by a tree,
my favorite foods, mom made for me.
Cheese sandwiches, they were the best,
then we laid in the grass to rest.

I just can't wait 'till the next day,
that we go to the park to play.
