Excellent

I have a severe cat phobia.

Meow

by Therese Caron

I have a secret fear to divulge
Not spiders, snakes, or rats
I don't want to offend my FanStory friends
But I am deathly afraid of cats.

Soft little gray cats, slinky black cats
White cats, striped cats, a big fluffy orange cat
I freeze in fear when approached by a feline
And what can I do about that?

The big fluffy orange ones look like lions
The black ones remind me of horror flicks
I have had this problem all of my life
It's a phobia without a fix.

So I will continue to worship dogs
And hope I haven't caused any harm
But when it comes to those suspicious, glittery eyes
I will stick to dogs and their charm!

I hope I have not offended anyone. I would love to love cats the way I love dogs, but it is hard to love something you are terrified of! It began when I was a child. Please do not hold it against me!
