The Young and the Tired Hearts

Throngs of shining stars,
each may yield my heart’s desire ~
All those wishes in waiting
 
Stars yet fill the sky,
mocking my years of wishing~
All just wasted on wonder

Write a sedoka poem. A sedoka consists of two unrhymed three-line stanzas, each with a syllable count of 5 - 7 - 7.
