Golden Love

Remember when almost every night
I’d move close, press my body against yours
Touch your shoulder, kiss your neck, you’d turn
Eyes closed, offering your lips, we’d make love
 
Now-a-days we climb in bed, hold hands
Kiss warmly, whisper love is forever
Wish each other the wonderous 
Gift of a peaceful night
