My love for thee

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not Contest Winner 
My love for thee, Banana,
is sustaining just like manna;
it surpasses when Santana
gave up dope for Yogananda

My love for thee, Banana,
wider than the Susquehanna,
sweeter than Hannah Montana,
makes me want to shout "hosanna!"

My love for thee, Banana,
is more brave than Santa Anna
when he fired off his rocket
to dispose of Davy Crockett

Half my heart is in Havana
and I'm not a Pollyanna --
listen close to this arcana:
it's the home to my Banana
