Alliteration Celebration writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt Write a poem of any type, at least eight lines long, where every word starts with the same letter! |
And an ape ain't an anarchist. An explanation for three of the somewhat esoteric words used here:
"Amass" is generally used as a verb, but also has historical use as a noun, although it is considered outdated, befitting its use here.
"Aft": the rear part of a sailing vessel; in this context, it can be understood as "behind" or "backwards".
"Accords" (used here as a plural noun): an agreement or treaty. Not a reference to a Honda product.
The broken rhyme in the first line was a late single-letter edit to make this entry slightly less acerbic.
