Relationships are a two way thing. Give and take from both sides.
Sunshine and rain make rainbows. We were great rainbow-makers, once upon a time.
In the end, lip service and good intentions weren't enough. I couldn't make rainbows alone.

Lesser Snow: November 22-26 - Rainbows hide (Japanese Seasons (Kigo) Almanac) In England, we spell 'grey' this way ;) Prose - 41 words, Haiku - 5/6/3 Image courtesy of Google The following notes are courtesy of Gypsy Blue Rose: Haibun combines prose and haiku. The range of haibun is broad and frequently includes autobiography, diary, essay, prose poem, short story, and travel journal. Haiku Master, Matsuo Basho was a prominent early writer of haibun, He wrote some haibun as travel accounts during his various journeys, the most famous of which is Narrow Road to the Interior. Contemporary haibun composition in English is continually evolving. Generally, a haibun consists of one or more paragraphs of prose written in a concise, imagistic way, and one or more haiku. -The prose is not an explanation of the haiku. -The haiku is not a linear continuation of the prose. -Make every word count. Keep the prose between 20-to-180 words -The prose should add to the depth with which we experience the haiku. -The haiku should add meaning to the prose. |
