"LOVE OF NATURE"

Prologue
When

By Bucketlist

When it’s time

I'll travel free

Free like a butterfly

To where you are

I'll ride the breeze

Which carries me

To visit any land

Thats near or far

My purpose done

My love'll stay on

Enough to spread

To those I leave

I may twirl around

Settle somewhere

On a tree or flower

a ship 'cross the sea

Freedom isn't lost

It begins you see

Every time you feel

My spirit with you

Chapter 3
Purple

By Bucketlist

Purple is nature's gift
Her blooms, her fruits
Moorland heather for dyes
Her purple skies

Dire warning of dominance
Storms will make turmoil,
thrashing rains in abundance .
Bring vengeance

Used by artists on canvas
In song "Purple Rain"
"The Color Purple" movie
Drama and hurt shared

Red and blue make purple
A painter's brush strokes
Softly create images as
In the mirrored state

Foul vapors float while
The planet sees its own reflection
Spherical in reality
While water distorts the shape

This planet is doomed
Purple pollution rises to the sky
Ominous clouds are hovering
One day pollution will kill us

Chapter 4
Natural LIfe

By Bucketlist

“Look deep into nature, and you will understand everything better".
Albert Einstein

Chemical free
Healthy diet
Serene not stressed
Without hatred

Enjoy nature’s reality
Reject falseness
It's God's free guide for us

Author Notes A sapphionic Triad is a format created by our own Ciliverde, and named by Pantygynt. It consists of three parts (the triad) - a two line quotation (Free verse but max total of sixteen syllables - must be concise and memorable), followed by a quatrain of four lines each of four syllables, and finally an 8-4-6 syllable envoi that yields a sartorial feeling

Chapter 16
Glad

By Bucketlist

I once lived where eagles soar
High mountain peaks and snow falls galore
The Icy temps were felt to our core
The windchill made our cheeks so sore
A beautiful place, Fall colors to adore
God’s hidden caves for us to explore
The lake froze over to make an ice floor

Glad I don’t spend winter there anymore!

Author Notes Inspiration from Gert to write a poem about being glad.

Chapter 17
Procrastination

By Bucketlist

Procrastination
Hesitation
Avoidance
Postpone
Stall
Task has not begun.

Author Notes Teacup Dictionary

The next line must have the same number of syllables as the dictionary word and makes an observation about the word dictionary word or the preceding lines. The poem is usually centered on the page.
The teacup dictionary poem was created by Rose Jones in 2009.J

Chapter 18

By Bucketlist

as snow blankets leave
nature wakes up sleeping seeds
to rise from their beds

Chapter 18

By Bucketlist

our authentic selves

until we break lose

Chapter 19
Sky Ballet

By Bucketlist

The sky
God's canvas
All colors imaginable
make awesome sunsets
Sunrises that inspire us daily

Birds
They use the sky to dance
All kinds and colors fly swoop and swirl
Inspiration of Wright brothers for human flight
But they have a magical choreography
Flight ballet, a show from the Divine

A Christmas bell came to mind
An image like no other
As thousands flock into
A geometric unique shape
With the back drop of sunset colors
Breathtaking beauty in the Sky
Superb!

Chapter 201
Lull Before the Storm

By Bucketlist

Girl
Crystal clear turquoise sea
Standing in the calm ocean
Between the celestial heavens
And life aquatic forms below
Both strangers in separate worlds
All connected by the same creator

The cool waters lap gently around
She surveys the horizon far away
Enjoys the solitude and tranquility
To remove the stress of urban living
To appreciate what God has given
Life contentment now reappears

Her lull before the storm is there
Calm 'in the moment' thoughts
The storm a human jungle scene
A fast paced competitive whirl
Spent in man designed sunshine
Turquoise vistas will become grey
