My lovely friend, Julie, treated me to a beautiful bath bomb to use after taking my bandages off a week after surgery. I had never used a bath bomb before and was excited to see what my bathing experience would be like.
Well...... what can I say?! It smelled and looked amazing, but I wasn't too keen on the floaty bits crashing into me so I fished them out! I will use bath bombs again but I'll buy them without the bits in (a bit like marmalade without the shreds!) Photo: my bath - note the gorgeous pink water (and the copious amount of bits I fished out!) |

I don't pretend to know anything about Haiku. Occasionally I write a 5-7-5 that turns out to be haiku - it's usually a fluke though!
Matsuo Basho (1644-1694), was the most famous poet of the Edo period in Japan. During his lifetime, Basho was recognized for his works in the collaborative haikai no renga form; today, after centuries of commentary, he is recognized as the greatest master of haiku...... Laden with goodies
Super Granny strikes again --
Kids bounce off the walls.
Author Notes |
... The kids get high on sugar, then granny goes home leaving me to scrape them off the ceiling!
Too many goodies are bad, bad, bad! Rant over. Until the next time..... ;) |

Shouting and screaming,
Mother requested that we
'keep the damn noise down'
Author Notes |
Hands up! I'm guilty of being 'that' mother today! (Minus the cursing, I hasten to add!)
Tomorrow I will try harder to lead by example - a calm mother equals a calm family, right?! |

This motherhood thing --
I'm becoming quite the pro
at getting it wrong.
Author Notes | Maybe I should try my hand at micro physics.... It would be a doddle compared to this! |

I'm not normally
one to rock the bloody boat,
but this mamma's mad.
Author Notes |
I won't go into what's riled me, I just needed an extra outlet for the remains of my 'boat rocking' Let's just say I've made my feelings known loud and clear! Thank you for allowing me to rant... :)

My girls are so tough
'til it's time to comb their hair--
Tangles and tantrums.
ooOoo
Author Notes | They're at tough as nails! The youngest at 4, split her head open and needed to be put to sleep to have the wound sewn up - she didn't fuss one bit about that..... Show her the hairbrush and she has a complete melt down! I know, I know - tangles are evil! |
