Today, I am on my way to the planet Uranus
to see some special flowers in full bloom.
Looking through the space Jittney portal,
through the gaseous ring system I see, oh
I know the name of those flowers, but it
eludes me.
Um, Ah, Nah. It's my mind searching for clues.
There, There, Here. It's the mind looking for
the answer.
I hear echoes in my mind.
Martha! Martha! It's the Martha Washington
Geraniums, in bloom. Their purple, velvet
shinny petals, etched in razor edge white.
Oh! What a delight. Can you envision this
sight?
I am here at the perfect hour before the
meteor, cosmic shower.
It's time for me to start back, with my
precious picture, in my knapsack.
Author Notes | A neat get away, for a brief time from chaos. In my Space Jittney I will see a special batch of flowers in bloom. Artwork by Jean Geinie: Variations, on FanArtReview.com - Thanks. |

Early into the space flight, the spaceship
was engulfed by a raging interstellar
cosmic wind storm that threw the Space
Jittney around like a piece of cosmic junk.
Apprehension gripped my throat, while my
forehead beaded sweat. I wondered if I
would survive this flight, alright?
I enhaled my energy vapor for power, at
this mind boggling hour. Shook-up, I made
sure my oxygen support system was hooked-up.
Before reaching Satellite Callisto,through
the portal, I saw its concentric rings
smooth cracks, where many spiked,
wheel shaped clusters of flowers were
blooming.
Chrysanthemum Pacificum. They were exotic
solar mums in weird symmetry that
aroused my flowery chemistry.
Now I'm heading back to earth and spread the
words of peace, the planet of my birth.
Author Notes |
Today the earth has many complex problems, and this is a nice time for me to return to explore the flower garden on the satellite Callisto, in outer space.
This is my mind break adventure, in my Space Jittney. My thanks to FanArtReview.com for Purple Pink Chrysanthemum by, dodgement, my Thanks. |

My eyes beam in shock curiosity,
as light beams glow upon the focus
oval seeds that stared at me.
Petals in theme repetition faded,
limp, crystal gem in cosmic light,
is the Sunflower's lifeform here.
Author Notes |
There was a lot of chaos going on in my life, so I hopped into my Space Jittney and headed towards the space canopy to visit The Small Bodies of Impact G. Artwork: Sunflower by geokat on FanArtReview.com For: Sunlit Sunflower. Humble Thanks.
