Crisis of Faith
Poetry Contest
Never Won A Contest
The topic for this poetry contest is: FAITH.
For most of us, the practice of following a particular spiritual tradition or path is not a straightforward process; rather it is a series of highs and lows. A lot of poetry about faith focuses on the emotional highs, while neglecting the emotional lows. In this contest, poets are asked to write about times when people question or doubt their faith.
Any style is accepted as long as it remains on topic.
This is a Winless contest. Only authors that have never won first place may enter.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 65.00 member dollars. There are 5 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
Deadline: Contest is closed. Deadline was Tuesday, July 24, 2012.
