Write a folksy song about this pair
Poetry Contest
In the style of folk artist such as : Bob Dylan ( Pre electric) Joan Baez, Woody Guthrie or Pete Seeger even I would like you to write a folk song about the couple that has been so beautifully painted in the picture. Also since folk sometimes can incorporate country music. So to make sense and to be truly fair I will give you an option. You can either write a folk song about the couple in the picture or you can write a country song about them. It really doesn't matter to me since the two are very well known musical forms that have been in place in America since the dawn of the century. Just do your best and let God take care of the rest.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 55.00 member dollars. There are 7 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
