A rondeau poem

Poetry Contest
Write a rondeau poem.
Here are two examples:

1.
In Flanders fields
by John McCrae

in Flanders fields the poppies blow
between the crosses, row on row
that mark our place; and in the sky
the larks, still bravely singing, fly
scarce heard amid the guns below

we are the Dead. Short days ago
we lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow
loved and were loved, and now we lie
in Flanders fields

take up our quarrel with the foe
to you from failing hands we throw
the torch; be yours to hold it high
if ye break faith with us who die
we shall not sleep, though poppies grow
in Flanders fields

2.
Guest Speaker
by Unknown

All smile, she greets the Chairman at the door
And overwhelms him with her dulcet roar
takes off her coat, decides to keep the hat-
(ridiculous confection)- orders that
they bring her coffee, cake and petits-four

before she speaks, she wants to be quite sure
the audience will know- and be in awe-
of who she is. She gives this caveat,
all smiles

she condescends to glance around the floor
then patronizes for an hour or more
before she? such a grand aristocrat
(She tells the Chairman) she won?t stay to chat
She takes her fee, sails down the corridor
all smiles
