OCT WK 4 - Fav Halloween Memory
Happy Halloween MONTH!
The Horror Writer's Club is hosting a contest EVERY Sunday of our hallowed month of Halloween leading up to our special day. Please join one or all of the contests!
This week's October horror contest is:
YOUR FAVORITE HALLOWEEN MEMORY. It could be as a child or as an adult. Share with us something that warms the heart and chills the spine. We are looking for good-natured and fun stories about your best Halloween memory. NO WORD COUNT, but most entries should probably aim to be 250-750 words. This is non-fiction, but obviously creative non-fiction fits that.
For those that need this:
- This nonfiction/creative non-fiction
- No word count
- The overarching goal is to HAVE FUN WRITING and entertain us all
Each month the Horror Writer's group will host a horror writing contest, leading up to October where we will have numerous contests and our inaugural haunt! If you enjoy horror, whether to write or to read, PLEASE join our Horror Writer's club--it is new, and could use some love!
Happy Hauntings Everyone
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 32.00 member dollars. There are 10 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 72.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
Deadline: Contest is closed. Deadline was Monday, October 25, 2021.
