OCT WK 3 - 300 words or less

Happy Halloween MONTH!

The Horror Writer's Club is hosting a contest EVERY Sunday of our hallowed month of Halloween leading up to our special day. Please join one or all of the contests!

This week's October horror contest is:

A CHILDREN'S HALLOWEEN STORY in 300 words or less. Make is CLEAN and entertaining, something that you would be able to read to a child in elementary school or lower. So taper the fright but keep it within the purview of Halloween. Word count is measured from your computer's counter. Title is excluded from word count.

For those that need this:

- This is flash fiction (as is is axiomatic that 300 words or less could only be)
- But although listed as flash fiction, creative non-fiction or a poem would be acceptance--any prose form will do
- The overarching goal is to HAVE FUN WRITING and entertain us all

Each month the Horror Writer's group will host a horror writing contest, leading up to October where we will have numerous contests and our inaugural haunt! If you enjoy horror, whether to write or to read, PLEASE join our Horror Writer's club--it is new, and could use some love!

Happy Hauntings Everyone
