Calling Poetic Script Writers!
This contest is to write in rhyming verse
A play of sorts that?s humorous and terse
No more than forty rhyming lines required
You can exceed if you are so inspired
The cast and scene descriptions need not rhyme
No monologues. Good retorts are sublime
Give clues to what the characters are like
The words they use should the reader strike
This contest might cause you to think I?m daft
But calling poets to expand their craft
Is not a crime. This contest?s calling YOU!
As famous playwrights wrote in verses, too!
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 36.00 member dollars. There are 9 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 72.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
