The topic for this poetry contest is: Obscure Word 7-9-7
Write a 7-9-7 poem that brings to light and defines a word that is rarely or even 'never' used in modern literature. The first line should be 7 syllables. The second line should be 9 syllables. The third line should be 7 syllables. Only one picture/illustration plus poem - no other enhancements. Make it interesting and intriguing - make us WANT to employ it in our own writing through your creative definition/presentation of it!
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool of 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
