Tanka Poetry Contest
Poetry Contest
This contest is for the traditional form of 5-7-5-7-7. Tankas usually focus on nature, seasons, or love. The first two lines need to be grammatically connected. And, also, the last two lines need to be grammatically connected. The third line of the poem is called the satori and is a pivot line. It amplifies the previous two lines and also introduces the last two lines.

The prize pool is currently 50.00 member dollars. There are 8 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
