Novelette Contest Part 1
The topic for this contest is: Book Chapter One
We are having a Novelette Contest.. . This is Chapter One of your novelette. This chapter would have to be listed as chapter one as one of your books when the story is submitted here. This is Part One and we will do 5 parts. Choose any topic you want, the catch will be that the next 4 parts have to follow the storyline and also be listed as your book. Chapter Two must take off where Chapter One left off.
Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
Minimum length 900 words. Maximum Length 7,000 words. Recommended length 2,500 - 3,500 words.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 34.00 member dollars. There are only 1 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 36.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 5 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
