Poetry Contest
Write a ten line poem that has a specific syllable count. Your first line has to be a 1 syllable word. For every line that follows add a syllable. So your second line has two syllables. Third line has three, etc... Your last line is a 10 syllable line. So Etheree consists of 10 lines of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 syllables. Etheree can also be reversed and written 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

Example:

She's (1 syllable)
inclined (2 syllables)
to want more (3 syllables)
to ease her mind (4 syllables)
than do you or I. (5 syllables)
She disappears to find (6 syllables)
anonymous solitude. (7 syllables)
We look for it, but we are blind. (8 syllables)
Left behind, we become mere figments (9 syllables)
of her illusions; . . . . we call her unkind. (10 syllables)
