Poetry Contest
Due to lack of support, I'm tired of sponsoring contests that require any form of poetic imagination, so how about this one:
Please write three lines, with a total of seventeen syllables, in 5-7-5 form. No corny gags obtained from the internet, please.
The theme is, 'lack of poetic imagination', with NO DIRECT reference to a 'muse' or writer's block.
No punctuation, except for abbreviations or proper nouns.
No artwork or sound effects.
No 'author notes'.
'Description' above title must read, 'contest entry', only.
Two colour presentation only - one for type and one for background.
Use 'basic fanstory editor', only - that's the one that applies automatically when you post.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 95.00 member dollars. There are only -1 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
