I love the way you glorify the name of The Lord, in this wonderful acknowledgement of beautiful creation! I love the way the sun breaks through the clouds and seems to be like an eye shining down! Just another communication from God, great little poem, Teresa. Blessings, Roy.

I've often been struck by this same vision TAB - sun & clouds tend to do that sort of thing in rather a spectacular way, hmm? One spag note:
the light shining through the center
of the accumulating clouds
create(s) an eye
(The subject of the verb is 'light', not clouds, yes??)

You create such a peaceful feeling in your verse. Knowing that the eye of the Lord watches over all creation is reassuring. The artwork you selected supports and compliments that message.

I think this is a great poem, it does a great job of using descriptions to help create a vivid picture in the readers mind. I really enjoyed reading it.

God free verse. I agree the eye of the Lord is wat aching every thing we do and hurting too when we do things that displease Him
Awesome presentation

And wherever there is light, there will always be faith. A lovely image which works well with the sentiment. A lovely delivery. Your passion in Christ shines through.
Best wishes,
RG

Teresa, this is a creative, refreshing and honestly relieving look at the "all seeing eye", unlike other groups of persuasion that are anything but Christian. Clever capture of a cloud formation put into words. Well done. :0 GracieAnn

This was a beautiful depiction of the image you witnessed. I've never seen an event such as this but I can image it was awe-inspiring. I always enjoy watching the sun's rays beam down through the clouds but this is truly amazing!

This struck a chord! I was driving home at sunset the other day. The sun was huge and of such an intense colour as it paused on the surface of the sea to shake out its flowing mantle of blazing silks. One can easily imagine why the ancients worshipped such a glorious icon. Surely it is one of God's finest gifts.
