I miss freedom. Yes it is gone. What was for a while shall be no more. No more going in or out as I please for life is now covered with dreaded disease.
I miss my family and my friends. Social distancing but the means to an end. Nothing compares to a comforting touch. Such are the gestures of love.
I miss the struggle of trying to live, for oppression carries the winds of death. I miss the security of living in hope opposed to the unknown, darkness and doubt.
COVID-19 be gone.
For what I miss you don't belong.
