This work has reached the exceptional level
Etheree Poem

California Dreaming

by nancyjam

Clouds
darken
winter sky.
We watch and wait,
anticipating
those lovely quenching drops
that soon become a downpour,
drenching a land once parched and dry.
El Nino brings the blessing of rain.
At last the thirsty earth can drink its fill.
