A beautiful description of both the countryside there and of the burgeoning love experienced in that lovely place. I very much enjoyed the lyrical qualities, the imagery, and the measured pace and flow. Lovely poem.

Hi Jim, this wonderful love poem evokes long forgotten memories memories along the Serenade Mountains. The imagery is beautiful as the Sequoias stand guard protecting that special memory. Ulla:)))

The repetition of "the Serenade Mountains" to end each stanza is very powerful, as is each stanza giving its own version of the mountain's actual serenade. I love the way you touch on both the aural and the visual. Beautiful job!
