How various feelings and emotions may cause you to react ...

Causing you, to ...

by Melodie Michelle

A free form poem ...
Thinking ...
of everything plus
anything that
crosses your mind.
Plunging into the abyss
of the mind
Catering to elaborate
measures
that will cause you to pause ...

Feeling ...
of volatile recollections
discerned by
irrelevant bursts
of energy
rampaging throughout
your sensitive mind
that will cause
you to wonder ...

Wanting ...
of the vitals
from your detached soul.
The adornment
that lavishly coats
the inspiration
that life offers
will cause
you to anticipate ...

Reasoning ...
of the many ideas
that stemmed from
a tortured heart
with visions of
bludgeoning at its heels,
gracefully acknowledging
the pain from within,
causing you to curse ...

Heartfelt ...
actions win
across the board
with kindness as king
of the perseverance
it channels!
Daily choices
of happiness exude tirades
causing you to smile ...

Finally,
Love ...
true love
speaks from
the windows of your soul,
driving out hate
and haters alike!
Screaming for
the love to fill
the crevices of your thoughts,
Causing you to ...
regain
momentum ...

Free form or free verse DEFINITION:

Free form or free verse is an open form of poetry, which in its modern form arose through the French vers libre form. It does not use consistent metre patterns, rhyme, or any musical pattern. It thus tends to follow the rhythm of natural speech.

Free verse is an open form of poetry, which in its modern form arose through the French vers libre form. It does not use consistent metre patterns, rhyme, or any musical pattern. It thus tends to follow the rhythm of natural speech.

Free verse is a type of poetry that does not contain patterns of rhyme or meter. Free verse is considered an open form of poetry, as opposed to poetry written in structure or form, and tends to follow natural speech patterns and rhythms. While some rhyme and rhythm may occur in free verse poems, the poet does not adhere to strict patterns. However, this not does imply that free verse has no guiding principles. Indeed, free verse generally contains poetic lines and poetic imagery that distinguish it from prose.
